Carolina Urrego-Sandoval

Dr Carolina Urrego-Sandoval is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science of Universidad de los Andes. She holds a PhD in International Political Economy from King’s College London, an MA in International Studies from Aarhus University in Denmark, and a BA in International Business from the University of Tolima in Colombia.

She has worked at the Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva, Standard Chartered Bank in Mumbai, also as Head of International Relations at the University of Tolima in Colombia. She has taught at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), was a Guest Lecturer at Aarhus University, University of Tolima, and a visiting researcher at Rosario University in Bogotá.

Ramón Pacheco-Pardo

Dr Ramon Pacheco-Pardo is the KF-VUB Korea Chair at the Institute for European Studies (IES-VUB) and Reader (Associate Professor) in International Relations at King’s College London.

He holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Dr Pacheco Pardo is also Committee Member at CSCAP EU and Korea Foundation Korea-Europe Next Generation Policy Expert alumnus. He has held visiting positions at Korea University, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and Melbourne University.

Dr Pacheco Pardo has been editor of Millennium: Journal of International Studies and currently sits in the editorial board of EU-China Observer and Global Studies Journal.

Jean Marie Chenou

Dr Jean Marie Chenou is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. He holds a PhD in Political Science from University of Lausanne in Switzerland, and an MA in International Relations from Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II). Before joining Los Andes, he was a lecturer at the University of Lausanne and a visiting researcher at the Department of Business and Politics at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. His research focuses on internet governance and the global political economy of the digital age. His work has been published in journals such as Colombia Internacional, International Journal of Transitional Justice, International Relations, and Globalizations, among others.

Ralf Leiteritz

Dr Ralf Leiteritz is a Full Professor at the School of Political Science, Government and International Relations of Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá. He holds a PhD in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Political Science from Postdam University in Germany. He held a visiting position at the Department of Political Science and International Studies in Yonsei University, and KFAS Fellowship. He has worked at the World Bank in Washington, DC, and the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) in London.

Dr Leiteritz was editor of the journal Desafíos and Head of Postgraduate Studies at Universidad del Rosario.

Alexandra Pérez Jiménez

Alexandra holds an MA in International Studies from Universidad de los Andes and a BA in International Relations with a minor in Political Science from Universidad del Norte (Colombia). She earned an Honorary Graduate Teaching Assistance fellowship from the Centro de Español of the Universidad de los Andes and an Orgullo Caribe scholarship at the Universidad del Norte. Alexandra was a collaborator and junior researcher in Sociology and Public Policy research projects in the Department of History and Social Sciences of the Universidad del Norte and the First Committee of the Andean Parliament, respectively. So far, her research interests have focused on area studies in subregions of Asia and Latin America. Specifically, she has investigated matters related to diplomacy, international cooperation and political transitions.

Gina León

Gina León Cabrera is a Ph.D  student of Social and Political Sciences at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and holds a MA in Social and Political Studies from the same university. Before starting her doctoral studies, she was a researcher at the Colombian National Museum in Bogotá and. She was also a visiting researcher at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History (MUCH). Her research focuses on the relation between museums and national narratives and the cultural process of memory of the Korean War in Colombia and the Republic of Korea.

Junghwan Kim

Junghwan is teacher and interpreter of the Korean, Japanese, English and Spanish languages. He held a MA in Pedagogy and Didactics for Teaching Japanese and Korean and a BA in Japanese from Kyung Hee University in Seoul. He has served in several educational institutions, including the Universidad de los Andes. He toured over 40 countries and is passionate about history and culture. Content creator and promoter of the teaching of oriental languages ​​in Spanish-speaking audiences through social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

Juan Sebastián Trujillo

Juan Sebastián holds a BA in Political Science with minors in Biology and German Culture and Language from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia). He was awarded the Quiero Estudiar a Escala (QEE) scholarship by Universidad de los Andes. There, he was later a junior researcher in the Department of Political Science. Juan Sebastián worked as a volunteer in the world’s largest youth-run organization: AIESEC. His research interests focus on sustainable development, new information and telecommunication technologies, and political change worldwide. Mainly, he has investigated investments flows to renewable energies coming from Asia-Pacific to the Pacific Alliance members.

Natalia Mendivil

Natalia Mendivil Franco is a  Political Science student with a minor in journalism and Italian language and culture at the Universidad de los Andes. She was awarded the Quiero Estudiar a Escala (QEE) scholarship by Universidad de los Andes. During her major, she has been working on student journalism at the global studies magazine The Lobby, where she was the general director, and the student newspaper Sin Corbata, where she was the editor-in-chief of the international section. She is currently working as the Political Science student representative at the Studen Council. Her research interests focus on studying and analysing foreign and diplomatic policies, especially from South Korea and the United States, international development, and international cooperation.
